Earthworks at Cromford Mill

Earthworks is a group of ceramists, me being one, with links to the University of Derby. We will be having a selling exhibition of our work at the World Heritage Site of Cromford Mill. More details will follow in the near future.
Wood fired kiln takes shape
Despite the mud the kiln build continues and the 16th course is finished. The photograph (see larger image) shows the 15th course with the fire bricks on which kiln shelves will sit and act as a damper.
